Bringing together beloved furniture house Herman Miller and California-based studio Heath Ceramics, the 'Gathered' collection offers 7 vibrant new pieces. You'd be forgiven for thinking they were plucked straight from the 1950s as they have the feel of dining room thrift store finds. The collection includes bowls, mugs, dinner plates and candle holders, and reimagines archival designs from Heath's history, whilst offering the sleek functionality that Herman Miller is loved for.
Each piece in the Herman Miller X Heath Ceramics collection has a story to tell: everything is handmade in California using Heath's historic kilns, which were originally built in the 1950s (hence that gorgeous retro look). Heath didn't just use archival designs for the collection, but archival glazes, too. The earthy 'turmeric' and 'yuzu' shades are both heritage finishes, alongside the vibrant 'sunflower' hue.
